University of Dayton logos can be used in association with a "tag line" (such as a department name and/or a phone number). The specifications as shown below were created in order to provide a consistent look to how these tag lines are used with the identity. In all cases the tag line is placed a distance below the logo equal to the height of the word "UNIVERSITY." In the case of all logos using the chapel, the tag line should always be centered. For use with the logotype, the tag line can either be centered or flush left. Tag line cap height equals the height of the word "UNIVERSITY."
