It is very important that the the University of Dayton's identity be used
consistently and in strict adherence to the guidelines in this manual.
For this reason it is essential that these logos not be altered in any way. Demonstrated below are unacceptable variations of the logos. All of these violations apply to each of the logos in the the University of Dayton identity program.

For approval of any usages not covered in this guide, please
contact the public relations office at logo@udayton.edu.

Don't rearrange elements
of logos (such as centering
chapel)

Don't use any screened
images or type behind the
chapel art in logo

Don't use boxed chapel art
(or just chapel) without
typography

Don't rearrange logo colors
from approved colors
variations

Don't change logo
type fonts

Don't use chapel art
in UD Red

Don't resize logo elements

Don't use unapproved logo
colors

Don't add words to logos

Don't respace logo elements

Don't use University coat of
arms (for official use only)

Don't animate, make 3-D or
otherwise alter logo
(especially on the internet)
